Operations Coordinator Technician

Position Overview The Operations Coordinator Technician supports the Operations Manager by handling day‑to‑day operational duties at a CARD center located in Mamaroneck, NewYork. The role involves opening and closing the center, scheduling, file handling, and maintaining a welcoming environment for clients and staff. Hourly Pay Rate: $19.00 Responsibilities Assist the Operations Manager in opening and closing the center based on business needs. Manage day‑to‑day scheduling, including major and minor adjustments, and coordinate with the Operations Manager to optimize schedules for hourly goals. Monitor client and technician cancellations following company cancellation policies. Support patients and clinicians during center‑based services. Perform regular cleaning and sanitizing of entryways, common areas, and high‑traffic spaces as directed. Prepare and maintain employee and patient files in accordance with CARD policies and HIPAA standards. Act as the center’s greeter, maintaining a warm and welcoming environment and delivering excellent customer service. Obtain required training and pass exams to qualify as a behavioral technician, providing routine therapy hours as scheduled. Maintain inventory of all company equipment. Attend required trainings and meetings; represent CARD professionally and ethically to internal and external stakeholders. Complete additional duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in health administration, business, or a related field preferred. Project management experience preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Flexible schedule to accommodate clinic and patient needs, including evenings and/or weekends. Active listening and problem‑solving skills for exceptional customer service. Ability to react to day‑to‑day operational requirements promptly and professionally. Prioritization and multi‑tasking to meet deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with individuals at all levels. Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including phone and e‑mail etiquette. Computer proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Outlook; basic IT support for new systems and iPads. Organized, dependable, good listener, professional, detail‑oriented, and collaborative. Work Environment The role involves a typical office environment with occasional exposure to excessive noise and adverse environmental conditions. Physical Requirements Sit for prolonged periods of time. Lift and carry up to 25lb. Work extended hours using a computer, iPad, phone, and office equipment. Work with patients seated on the floor, in small chairs, or in other home, school, community, and clinic settings. Move frequently throughout therapeutic settings to gather materials and respond to patient movements. Potentially block or move to avoid aggressive behaviors and physically support patients when needed. Teach patients vocal speech, shape vocal communication, and model gross and fine motor skills.
