Agilent is seeking a motivated, field-based Product Specialist with deep experience in anatomic pathology to drive the adoption, utilization, and differentiation of Agilent's comprehensive pathology solutions portfolio, including primary and advanced staining (H&E, IHC, Special Stains, and ISH), digital pathology, workflow optimization, and laboratory informatics solutions. In this high-impact role, you will serve as a trusted product, workflow, and laboratory operations expert, partnering closely with customers and sales teams to assess laboratory needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and position Agilent solutions that enhance operational efficiency, quality, productivity, and diagnostic confidence. You will support pre-sales activities, workflow assessments, evaluations, implementations, and post-installation success across clinical, research, and pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical pathology laboratories. We are seeking a consultative professional who understands pathology laboratory operations and can translate customer challenges into integrated solutions. Your technical expertise, workflow knowledge, and customer engagement skills will help laboratories improve performance and patient outcomes while strengthening Agilent's position as a leader in comprehensive pathology solutions. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary anatomic pathology solutions expert to field sales. Conduct comprehensive pathology workflow assessments to identify operational challenges, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Partner with District Sales Managers, Account Managers, and cross-functional teams to advance complex solutions selling opportunities. Deliver compelling product demonstrations, workflow analyses, and customer presentations tailored to laboratory and organizational needs. Position Agilent's integrated anatomic pathology portfolio, including advanced staining platforms, digital pathology, informatics, and workflow optimization solutions. Provide technical expertise and support during product evaluations, validation studies, implementations, and early adoption activities. Differentiate Agilent solutions through consultative discussions focused on clinical, operational, workflow, and economic value. Drive installed base growth through workflow optimization initiatives, expanded solution utilization, and digital pathology adoption. Collaborate with customers to support laboratory modernization, standardization, and continuous process improvement efforts. Build and maintain strong relationships with laboratory personnel, pathologists, department leadership, and executive stakeholders. Maintain accurate CRM documentation and effectively manage opportunity and customer activity records. Represent Agilent at industry conferences, trade shows, customer events, and professional meetings. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Histology, Pathology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in anatomic pathology, including laboratory operations, staining workflows, pathology instrumentation, workflow optimization, digital pathology, or related areas. Strong understanding of anatomic pathology laboratory operations, quality requirements, validation processes, and workflow best practices. Experience conducting workflow assessments and recommending operational improvements that enhance laboratory performance. Knowledge of digital pathology, image management systems, pathology informatics, and workflow integration. Demonstrated ability to support complex sales opportunities and influence stakeholders ranging from histotechnologists and pathologists to laboratory and health system leadership. Excellent communication, presentation, consultative selling, and customer engagement skills. Proficiency with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce. Ability to travel extensively nationally. Direct experience with Agilent pathology platforms, including Dako Omnis, Autostainer Link 48, Artisan Link Pro, and CoverStainer systems. Experience supporting digital pathology transformation initiatives. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other laboratory process improvement methodologies. Strong customer-first mindset aligned with Agilent's values. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Proven ability to build credibility as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert. Results-oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized with strong problem-solving skills. Additional DetailsThis job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. It is sales incentive eligible.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $159,750.00 - $266,250.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
