Job Summary :

As a Field Service IT Technician, you will be providing onsite support to our customer. In this role, you’ll provide technical assistance and support for issues related to printer systems and hardware. Plus, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships to ensure their highest satisfaction.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Providing on site technical assistance and support to customers for incoming issues related to printer systems and hardware
• Installing, modifying, and repairing computer hardware at customer sites
• Running diagnostic programs to identify problems with computer systemsRepairing printer equipment at customer sites within our Service Level Agreement
• Communicating accurately, concisely, and professionally with the customer about any service updates and related items
• Responding to inquiries from customers seeking assistance and walking customer through problem-solving process
• Developing a working knowledge of all operating standards, practices, and procedures
• Performing quality checks on all documents scanned and prepped records to ensure accuracy and correcting any quality issues as needed
• Preparing product for delivery and ensuring all project documentation is complete
• Complying with daily maintenance and safety checks of all equipment
• Detecting image errors and determining/documenting the cause of the errors detected during QC
• Managing customer relationships to ensure highest satisfaction
• Installing new equipment at customer sites as required
• Installing upgrades, firmware, and consumables
• Performing other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

What You’ll Need :

• A+ certification is preferred
• Ability to travel as required
• Sense of urgency, organizational skills, professional presence, and teamwork skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills
• Regular, reliable attendance
• Must have ability to lift/move equipment weighing 50 or more pounds as well as stand, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, and reach freely
• Must be able to pass drug screening and background check
• Must have exceptional driving record and have a valid driver’s license
