As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, you will play a crucial role in delivering direct and indirect patient care with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for triaging patients safely and accurately, determining care priorities based on physical and psychosocial needs, and effectively communicating with physicians about patient status and diagnostic results. Your ability to respond swiftly to changes in patient condition will be vital in ensuring optimal outcomes.

• Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, and adjust nursing care processes as needed
• Perform comprehensive assessments and reassessments, including pain management and patient education
• Monitor hemodynamic status and interpret cardiac monitoring results
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and address psychosocial and cultural needs
• Formulate and evaluate teaching plans for patients and families
• Administer medications safely and manage IV fluids
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and families
• Assist physicians with procedures and participate in performance improvement activities
• Enhance professional growth through educational programs and workshops
• Need 1 year experience in setting
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with critical care experience
• Current California RN license
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
• Basic computer knowledge
