Adult Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift

Location

Charleston, SC

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 hour shifts, 7 PM - 7:30 AM, with required holidays and every other weekend.

Job Description

The Adult Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide respiratory care for patients in critical care settings. The position may require floating to the main hospital if needed, with responsibilities aligned to meet facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care to adult patients across various critical care units.
• Utilize equipment such as ECG and ECMO to support patients undergoing complex procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to prioritize patient care needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with facility policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience required.
• Valid NBRC RRT certification and South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• RRT SC license must be active by the start date.
