Senior Corporate Accountant

Position Summary Senior Corporate Accountant for benefits focus accounting operations. Applies GAAP to review contracts, prepare and enter contract information, journal entries, compile and analyze revenue information for management. Responsibilities Contribute to financial close cycles including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and preparation of information for GAAP and statutory reporting. Research and prepare financial reports and fluxes on a monthly basis. Conduct special studies to analyze complex financial actions and assist other analysts, consultants, and managers with complex analysis. Review customer contracts for proper set up and accounting treatment. Perform deferred revenue reconciliations and other GL reconciliations. Share knowledge with others, including recommending process improvements and automation. Perform a variety of complicated tasks and may lead and direct the work of others. Manage multiple, often competing priorities. Qualifications BA degree in Accounting. Minimum 5 years of accounting experience. Good understanding of accounting principles including ASC 606. Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query). Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Experience with revenue recognition and GL reconciliations preferred. Compensation Annual base salary range: $78,990–$98,740 USD. Salary may vary based on location, experience, education, licensure and skill level.
