Amergis Healthcare Staffing is currently hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for an exciting opportunity supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in Marietta, Georgia.

Position Details

Location: Marietta, GA Pay Rate: $18.50/hour Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Schedule: Weekdays & Rotating Weekends Contract Length: 12 Weeks Hours: 40 Hours Per Week Start Date: ASAP

Job Responsibilities

As a Direct Support Professional, you will:

• Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Encourage independence and personal growth
• Provide behavioral support and supervision as needed
• Assist residents in developing interpersonal and adaptive living skills
• Follow each individual's service plan and care goals
• Promote a safe, positive, and supportive environment

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED At least 1 year of IDD and/or Behavioral Health experience Current BLS/CPR Certification (if applicable) Valid Driver's License Must be at least 18 years old Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
