Position Details Department: Physical Therapy Outpatient Schedule: Day/Evening shifts, 8 hours, Monday to Friday Facility: Orthopedic Center Location: Auburn, ME 04210 Position Highlights Outpatient setting within a hospital environment. Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system integrated with all healthcare providers in the region. Practice hours are weekdays from 7 AM to 5:30 PM. Focus on individualized patient care with one-on-one sessions. No double bookings or overlapping appointments. Schedule driven by therapists. Key Responsibilities The role involves delivering medically prescribed physical therapy services aimed at evaluating, treating, and restoring patient function while enhancing mobility, alleviating pain, and preventing disabilities. Responsibilities include: Conducting patient evaluations and physical therapy assessments. Creating and implementing tailored treatment plans. Providing therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation and functional enhancement. Monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary. Educating patients and their families about treatment plans and recovery objectives. Accurately documenting evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes. Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Ensuring compliance with regulatory, licensing, and patient safety standards. Qualifications Degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate, or Certificate). Valid state Physical Therapy license. Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification (AHA) upon hire and must be maintained. Employment Status This is a full-time position with day shifts.
