Description Position: Associate Veterinarian Employment Type: Full Time Location: College Way Animal Hospital, Mount Vernon, Washington About the Hospital The College Way Animal Hospital is part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community and offers preventative medicine, including wellness exams, dentistry, surgery, and in‑house diagnostics. The hospital is located in beautiful Mount Vernon, Washington—a playground for outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, boating, and skiing, and within easy reach of the stunning San Juan Islands, the Cascades, BC Canada, and Seattle. Key Responsibilities Provide high‑quality medical care to patients. Perform wellness exams, dentistry, surgery, and in‑house diagnostics. Educate clients on pet health and preventive care. Conduct research on complex cases and apply findings to improve patient outcomes. Collaborate with a team to foster strong human‑animal bonds and support the local community. Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required. State Veterinary Board License in good standing for the state in which the position is located.
