Get to Know Your Team: * Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit. Responsibilities The Registered Nurse will be responsible for promoting and restoring patient health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends and families and supervising assigned team members. Qualifications Job Requirements: * Associate's Degree in Nursing. * 1+ years' experience as an RN in a hospital PACU or Critical Care Unit. * Current valid NJ State professional Registered Nurse license. * Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (obtainable within the first three months of employment). * Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (obtainable within the first three months of employment). * Successful completion of a Basic Arrhythmia Training. * Ability to initiate IV therapy, blood specimen collection, point of care testing, perform EKG, phlebotomy (skills obtainable within the first three months of employment). * Ability to manage a patient's airway including us of mechanical ventilation. * BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Preferred Job requirements: * Bachelor's degree in nursing * Experience with Epic. Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
