LVN - Correctional Nursing – Contract Assignment Location: Lamesa, Texas (Partnering correctional facility) Supplemental Health Care is hiring Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) for contract assignments at a correctional facility in Lamesa, Texas. Responsibilities Duties will include but are not limited to medication administration, immunizations, admissions, and emergency first aid. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of LVN experience. Previous nursing experience in a corrections setting is preferred. American Heart Association BLS certification. Applicant must be able to pass a background check before starting work. 13‑week contract with block booking. Various unit security levels available for travel Correctional Nurse contracts in Texas. LVNs have the option to stay where they are or move to a new location when extending their Correctional Nursing contract with SHC.
