Solutions Architect - Active Secret Clearance Required Location: Arlington, Virginia ID: j-2313 Job Type: Direct Hire Remote Status: On-Site Compensation: $220,000 / yr Staffing Pros, a division of VETS Inc., is recruiting for a full-time Solutions Architect located in Arlington, VA onsite 5 days a week. As a Solutions Architect, you will serve as a trusted technical leader responsible for designing and advancing enterprise security architectures that support complex Federal and national security environments. Key Responsibilities Define, design, and evolve enterprise security architectures and cybersecurity solutions. Partner with Application, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Data teams to implement secure, scalable, and resilient technologies. Establish and maintain security standards, policies, frameworks, and technical guidance across the enterprise. Lead security architecture reviews, risk assessments, compliance evaluations, and remediation efforts. Develop and maintain Security Risk Management Plans aligned to mission objectives and regulatory requirements. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative security capabilities to enhance organizational security posture. Author technical recommendations, architecture documentation, and executive-level briefings for stakeholders. Support compliance with Federal cybersecurity frameworks and security regulations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline and a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of the bachelor's degree requirement. Must either possess and maintain one of the following professional certifications: CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional Security+ CompTIA Security+ Net+ CompTIA Network+ A+ CompTIA A+ MCP Microsoft Certified Professional MCSE Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer CCNA Cisco Certified Network Associate MCSA Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate U.S. citizenship required. Active Secret security clearance. Ability to obtain a final Top Secret security clearance. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated ability to author white papers, technical recommendations, or security architecture documentation. Strong communication skills with the ability to brief technical and executive audiences. Prior experience in Federal or DoD cybersecurity programs.
