Bulk Foods Associate

Essential Job Functions: Responsible for preparing, packaging, and pricing bulk foods such as mixed nuts, seeds, snack mixes, candies, and other gourmet items. Examines expiration dates and rotates products according to department guidelines. Assists in receiving and unloading merchandise. Checks and verifies incoming shipments to ensure that items listed on vendor invoices are all delivered. Checks products for quality, count, and condition. Maintains proper rotation of inventory (FIFO) to ensure freshness and reduce waste. Provides excellent customer service and addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner. Maintains cleanliness of department and work area, including the back room. Treats customers and co-workers with courtesy and respect. Takes direction and performs duties assigned by RWM Leadership Team. Assists fellow employees as needed. Essential Skills and Experience: Must possess a love of people, interact with people well, and possess a desire for excellent customer service. Able to take direction, work independently, and as a member of the team. Must be highly motivated, hard working, and have an enthusiastic attitude. Must pay attention to details, be organized, and able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. Must have problem solving skills, be flexible, creative, and able to adapt to change when required. Must have reliable transportation and report to work in a timely manner.
