Vascular Access Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Vascular Access Specialist with extensive experience in vascular access procedures. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in CVC, PICC, A-line, and IV placements, and hold relevant certifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform vascular access procedures including CVC, PICC, A-line, and IV placements.
- Maintain adherence to hospital protocols and safety guidelines.
- Coordinate care with other nursing staff and healthcare professionals.
- Provide patient education regarding vascular access procedures.
Schedule
This position is scheduled from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with a total of 36 hours scheduled per week and a guaranteed 24 hours. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 24 months experience as a Vascular Access Specialist.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
- Active RN license with no hits on state license to practice.
- VA-BC or CPUI certification preferred.
- Driver's license to verify residency.
