Respiratory Therapist - NICU Experience Required
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, with every other weekend required.
Job Description: Join a team dedicated to high-quality, compassionate care in a full-service hospital environment. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will utilize your NICU experience to provide exceptional patient care, ensuring the best treatment outcomes for families in our community.
Responsibilities:
- Perform respiratory therapy procedures, including ABGs and nebulizer treatments.
- Assist with intubation and other critical care tasks.
- Utilize Servo I ventilators and I-Stat systems as needed.
- Provide care to all age ranges of patients.
- Work collaboratively with medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Two or more years of hospital experience required.
- Must have ICU and NICU experience.
- Ability to draw arterial blood gases (ABGs) is essential.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
