About the Role:

Sidecar Slider Bar in Bloomfield Twp is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Bartender to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar station throughout each shift
• Engage guests with friendly, attentive service to create a welcoming atmosphere
• Accurately process drink orders, handle cash, and operate POS systems
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible beverage service guidelines
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth, efficient service
• Assist with bar inventory, restocking, and end-of-shift breakdown and cleaning

Requirements:

• Previous bartending or bar service experience preferred
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Must meet Michigan legal age requirements to serve alcohol
• TIPS or ServSafe alcohol certification is a plus
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a high-volume environment
