About the Role:
Sidecar Slider Bar in Bloomfield Twp is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Bartender to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar station throughout each shift
- Engage guests with friendly, attentive service to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Accurately process drink orders, handle cash, and operate POS systems
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible beverage service guidelines
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth, efficient service
- Assist with bar inventory, restocking, and end-of-shift breakdown and cleaning
Requirements:
- Previous bartending or bar service experience preferred
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must meet Michigan legal age requirements to serve alcohol
- TIPS or ServSafe alcohol certification is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a high-volume environment
