Site Superintendent

About the Role ESB Design+Build is seeking a hands‑on Working Site Superintendent to lead commercial construction projects across Arizona. This role is ideal for a motivated construction professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, values safety and quality, and enjoys leading teams while remaining actively involved in the work. As the on‑site leader, you will oversee daily operations, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. What You’ll Do Lead, supervise, and train construction crews and subcontractors Serve as the primary point of contact on‑site for workers, managers, and clients Plan and coordinate daily and weekly tasks, schedules, and manpower Ensure materials, equipment, and resources are available and properly managed Enforce all safety protocols and maintain high-quality standards Monitor project progress, expenses, and budgets Coordinate material deliveries and site logistics Interpret blueprints and assist with problem‑solving on‑site Maintain equipment and ensure vehicles and machinery are up to date Communicate progress, challenges, and updates to leadership and team members Foster positive relationships with clients through professional communication What We’re Looking For Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or similar leadership role Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and problem‑solve effectively Experience in commercial construction (preferred) Blueprint reading skills (a plus) Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement Ability to travel to job sites across Arizona Work Schedule Monday to Friday 8–10 hour shifts depending on project needs Some travel required based on project location Why Join ESB Design+Build?
