Product Manager - Imagery and Remote Sensing

Grow your Product Management skills in remote sensing and imagery to help our software product teams design, develop, document, and deliver Esri technologies for our customers worldwide. The successful candidate will have proven knowledge of ArcGIS capabilities and customer workflows and a strong desire to develop product management expertise. Your work will involve interacting with customers, being a product expert, building team relationships, and influencing the product's development priorities.ResponsibilitiesOrganize and share customer requirements and priorities with the development team to collaborate and prioritize the product's roadmap and release timelinesCommunicate the product roadmap and release timelines to internal and external stakeholdersLead and support customer product briefings and gather requirementsManage the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activitiesWork closely with development/engineering professionals to meet market requirementsRepresent Esri imagery and remote sensing capabilities as the product expert at conferences and on social media platformsCollaborate with Global Business Development, Partners, Distributors, and Industry to develop and execute go-to-market strategiesWork with Product Marketing to craft messaging that creates demand for ArcGIS products in the imagery and remote sensing sectorsEnsure internal launch readiness for product updates with sales, technical support, customer service, and training teamsEstablish a feedback loop with Global Business Development, the partner team, international distributors, and product marketing to ensure current Imagery product offerings effectively meet customer needsContribute to all customer-facing resources related to the Imagery products, including website content, marketing sheets, slide presentations, and more, as neededTrack and analyze key business KPI metrics to measure the health of Imagery product offerings and related servicesRequirements2+ years of experience in a product role (such as product management, engineering, development, or support)Understand current methods and emerging technologies in the imagery and remote sensing fieldExperience in gathering and interpreting qualitative product data and consumer feedbackAbility to identify improved product features and contribute to marketing strategiesProficiency in compiling project status, risk management, and marketing reportsAbility to maintain strong customer relations and provide product supportCompetency in training sales teams on new product features and a product’s core valueAbility to work well with remote management and staff across various Esri departmentsExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skillsSelf-motivated, organized, creative, and team orientedRequirement for travel 10-20% for strategic meetings, events, and/or tradeshowsBachelor’s degree in a technical field or businessRecommended QualificationsPrevious experience in a similar role would be advantageousTechnical experience using business analytic software, data transformations, and new technologies in the area of data analytics and visualizationExperience with geospatial technology, mapping, and location-based contentExperience in Pragmatic Marketing Framework#LI-DV2#LI-OnsiteTotal RewardsEsri’s competitive total rewards strategy includes industry-leading health and welfare benefits: medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance for employees (and their families), 401(k) and profit-sharing programs, minimum accrual of 80 hours of vacation leave, twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy.
