Join us and help run what runs the world.This position reports to:Business Health, Safety & Env Manager__The Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Specialist plays a vital role in protecting employee wellbeing, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture across the manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for identifying and mitigating workplace hazards, developing and implementing HSE policies and procedures, and conducting inspections, audits, and incident investigations. The HSE Specialist works collaboratively with site leadership, operations teams, and employees to create a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. The successful candidate will champion HSE awareness through training and engagement initiatives while ensuring the facility meets or exceeds all applicable local, regional, and corporate safety and environmental standards.Job Responsibilities:Develop and deliver HSE training programs and materialsCreate and implement work instructions and HSE proceduresExecute HSE initiatives and drive continuous improvementSupport HSE compliance and program activitiesCollaborate with leadership to enhance safety cultureJob Qualifications:High school diploma + 1-2 years of progressive HSE experience, OR relevant HSE certificationDemonstrated ability to deliver HSE training or develop training materialsWillingness to implement changes and drive HSE initiativesProficiency with Microsoft OfficeBA/BS degree in HSE, Environmental Science, or related field is preferredFormal certifications such as OSHA 30, NEBOSH, or AIHA is preferredExperience with HSE management systems (ISO 45001, etc.)Ability to travel up to 10% of timeWhat's in it for youWe want you to bring your full self to work—your ideas, your energy, your ambition.
