Senior Electrical EngineerConsulting Engineering & Project Management | Atlanta, GAWe are searching for a Senior Electrical Engineer with a decade to a decade and a half of experience in consulting engineering and project management to become a part of our Atlanta office. This role presents a distinctive chance to help construct, supervise, and guide a group of engineers within a cooperative, multi-disciplinary setting.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and list electrical systems for various project categoriesSupervise and create multiple simultaneous projects, ensuring quality, adherence to schedules, and budgetsHead electrical design teams and coordinate with other sectorsExplain and produce technical diagrams and construction documentsOversee project teams with accountability for managing budgets and schedulesDevelop technical proposals based on fees and qualificationsEngage in and support marketing and business development initiativesAct as a technical advisor to clients, architects, owners, and contractorsMaintain constructive and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholdersContribute positively to the office culture, morale, and departmental objectivesTravel as necessary to support project and client requirementsTechnical QualificationsThorough understanding of electrical systems design and specificationsProficiency in relevant electrical and energy codes and standards, such as NEC, IEEE, NESC, IESNA, IECC, and related regulationsExperience with SKM, ETAP, or comparable electrical modeling and analysis softwareExperience in the power sector, with a concentration on electrical engineering and design for industrial, higher education, healthcare, federal government, and/or commercial projectsPreferred but not mandatory expertise in lighting designExperience with Telecom, A/V, cybersecurity, and security systems is advantageousProficiency in AutoCAD and RevitExcellent ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced settingAdvanced critical thinking, organizational, and analytical skillsProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferredRequired QualificationsBachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institutionProfessional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering (mandatory)10–15 years of pertinent experienceDemonstrated project management expertise and/or certificationsExcellent oral and written communication skillsDesire and capability to lead interdisciplinary projects and teamsExperience collaborating with local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) and established relationships is a plusActive involvement in local or regional industry organizations is beneficialCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary commensurate with qualifications and relevant experienceOvertime pay at 1.0x hourly rateCompetitive year-end bonus based on company, team, and individual performanceHybrid work timetable (subject to change)401(k) plan with up to 5% company match for a 9% employee contribution
