About the Position

• Schedule & Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (includes a 1-hour blocked lunch break). No call required.

• Flexibility: The facility highly prefers a full-time provider but is open to a flexible schedule if it is close to full-time hours.

• Practice Setting & Program: Primarily an outpatient clinical setting attached to an acute care hospital facility. The oncology program is currently in an exciting period of growth, so they are looking for an adaptable and flexible clinician. Inpatient consults are required on rare occasions but are not a primary focus.

• Clinical Scope & Infusion Details: General outpatient medical oncology and hematology patient management. The onsite infusion area features a 15-chair setup.

• Treatments & Cases Managed: Direct clinical support and care tracking for patients undergoing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy regimens.

• Patient Volume: Averages 18 to 20 patients per day.

• Support Staff & Team: You will collaborate closely with an established onsite unit consisting of 1 Medical Oncologist, 1 Nurse Practitioner (NP), and 3 CNAs/CMAs.

• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Fully integrated utilizing Epic charting software. Bonus feature: Onsite AI charting assistance technology is available to assist with documentation workflows.

Requirements

• Education & Board Certification: Active Board Certification (NCCPA) required.

• License Required: Must hold an active, unrestricted New York (NY) State License in hand at the time of submission.

• EMR Proficiency: Recent, hands-on charting experience with Epic software is required.
