Anti-Money Laundering Analyst

AML Quality Assurance Investigator | Leading Financial Services Client We’re looking for an experienced AML Quality Assurance Investigator to join a leading financial services organization. If you have extensive experience in AML investigations, SAR reviews, and quality assurance within banking or payments environments, this is an excellent opportunity to work on high-risk cases and help drive compliance excellence. What You’ll Do: Conduct and quality review complex AML/Fraud investigations across consumer and commercial banking products Analyse suspicious activity, money laundering typologies, red flags, and customer risk indicators Prepare detailed case narratives, escalation recommendations, and SAR/No-SAR decisions Review transaction monitoring investigations and Suspicious Activity Reports for quality, accuracy, and compliance Provide coaching, feedback, and training to investigators and analysts Partner with compliance teams to align on risk appetite, quality standards, and escalation requirements Oversee high-risk investigations and complex SAR filings Stay current on BSA/AML, OFAC, and industry regulatory developments Ensure adherence to SLAs, regulatory deadlines, and quality metrics What You Bring: 5+ years of AML, KYC, or EDD experience within banking, payments, or financial services 3+ years conducting QA reviews of transaction monitoring investigations and SARs Experience handling complex investigations involving multiple alerts, products, counterparties, and decision points Strong knowledge of BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC, SAR requirements, and AML regulations Deep understanding of consumer and commercial banking products and associated risk indicators Excellent investigative, analytical, and case-writing skills Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver actionable feedback and training Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or equivalent experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Access Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
