Clinical Nurse Coordinator Operating Room Main

Job Summary Hourly wage estimate: $43.57 - $62.29 per hour. $20,000 Sign On Bonus available to eligible new hires. As an Operating Room Clinical Nurse Coordinator (Charge RN), you will be part of an interdisciplinary team, working under the general supervision of the unit's director and assuming responsibility for the direction and coordination of all functions in the OR Department on your designated shifts. You will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients and to provide direction and supervision to other staff caring for patients. Responsibilities Act as a resource person and liaison between specialty team members, other staff members, surgeons, and vendors. Assist with overall management of patient care in the OR. Supervise all staff and assist with performance evaluations, counseling, and coaching. Handle hiring and day‑to‑day operational supervision. Ensure department compliance with state, federal, and healthcare regulatory agencies. Coordinate with other Clinical Nurse Coordinators to verify that surgical procedures are thoroughly prepared prior to surgery. Verify the accuracy of preference cards and the OR schedule. Work with surgery schedulers to streamline and verify the flow of the OR schedule. Maintain call schedule as required. Qualifications Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse or active multi‑state RN license. BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred). Two years of acute‑care experience as an Operating Room RN. Previous charge nurse or service coordinator experience.
