Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. This locum tenens role involves providing anesthesia services across outpatient surgical sites with a focus on orthopedic, gastrointestinal, podiatry, eye, pain, and plastics cases.

Opportunity Details

• Location: Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania
• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
• Setting: Outpatient surgery centers with inpatient beds
• Coverage: Ongoing, minimum three months
• Schedule Details:  Shifts: 8-hour or 10-hour shifts

Clinical Scope

• Duties: Administer anesthesia, including nerve blocks
• Procedures: Orthopedic, GI, podiatry, eye, pain, plastics
• Patient Population: Age 8 and over (pediatrics minimum)
• Modality: General anesthesia with nerve blocks
• Case Mix: 85% orthopedic, GI, podiatry, eye, pain, plastics
• Documentation: Epic EMR and paper charting depending on site

Practice Environment

• General outpatient surgery centers with inpatient beds
• Two sites: Allentown and Bethlehem, Pennsylvania
• Inpatient beds available at both sites
• EMR: Epic (dependent on site)

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania license
• Board Certification in nurse anesthesia
• Proficiency with nerve blocks
