Job TitleSenior Manager, Project Controls (Planning)Job Description SummaryThis senior level role will act as the face of the company responsible for the client relationship with regards to planning. Will make an immediate impact at a client by working with key stakeholders to develop high-level strategic schedules and resource plans to support the client through the early phases of the project lifecycle to closeout. Will work with the project cost lead and project controls manager to develop a plan for the long-term support of the project including building, managing and reporting on the schedule. Must have exceptional organizational, analytical and problem-solving. Must have the ability to lead a team and/or mentor less experienced team members.Job DescriptionCORERESPONSIBILITIESDevelop,maintain,andupdateintegratedprojectschedulesalignedwithprogramandprojectobjectives.Serveasatrustedadvisortoprojectstakeholdersbyprovidingschedulemanagementexpertise,planningguidance,andrecommendationstosupportsuccessfulprojectdelivery.CoordinateandintegrateOwner,design,procurement,construction,commissioning,andthird-partyschedulesintoacomprehensivemasterschedule.Facilitateplanningsessions,schedulereviews,andcollaborativeworkshopswithprojectteamsandstakeholders.Preparebaselineschedules,schedulenarratives,progressupdates,recoveryschedules,andwhat-ifanalyses.Analyzecriticalpathandnear-criticalpathactivitiesandcommunicatescheduleimpacts,risks,andopportunitiestoprojectteams.Monitorscheduleperformance,identifydeviationsandvariances,andsupportthedevelopmentofmitigationandrecoveryplans.Developandmaintainschedulereportingmetrics,dashboards,milestonetracking,andexecutive-levelreporting.Provideregularscheduleprogressreports,trendanalyses,andforecastupdatestoprojectleadershipandstakeholders.Maintainrecordsofscopechanges,scheduleassumptions,trends,risks,andvariancesthatmayimpactprojectexecution.Performschedulequalityreviewstoensureaccuracy,consistency,andcredibilityofprojectschedules.Collaboratecloselywithprojectcontrols,engineering,procurement,construction,andclientteamstoensureschedulealignmentacrossallprojectphases.Supportscheduleriskassessmentsandcontributetoproactiveriskidentificationandmitigationstrategies.Mentorandprovideguidancetojuniorschedulersandprojectcontrolsteammembers.Supportcontinuousimprovementinitiativesrelatedtoschedulingprocesses,tools,andbestpractices.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEBachelor'sdegreeinArchitecture,Engineering,ConstructionManagement,ProjectManagement,orarelatedfield.10+ yearsofprogressiveexperienceinprojectplanning,scheduling,projectcontrols,orconstructionprojectmanagementsupportingcapitalprojectsthroughdesignandconstructionphases.Demonstratedexperiencedevelopingandmanagingintegratedprojectschedulesforlarge-scalecapitalconstructionprojects.Experienceworkingwithincomplex,cross-functional,matrixedprojectenvironments.AdvancedproficiencywithPrimaveraP6and/orMicrosoftProject.Constructionindustryexperiencerequired;lifesciences,advancedmanufacturing,healthcare,datacenter,orpharmaceuticalprojectexperiencestronglypreferred.Strongverbalandwrittencommunicationskillswiththeabilitytoeffectivelyengageprojectteams,clients,andleadershipstakeholders.Cushman & Wakefield also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work.
