Position: Occupational Therapist (Part-Time 3 Days/Week) Location: Nuestro Mundo Public Charter School, Providence, RI

Our mission is to prepare students for academic success and bilingualism while fostering cultural awareness, equity, and a strong sense of community.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered Occupational Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis (3 days per week). The Occupational Therapist will support students in developing the skills necessary for participation in school activities, with a focus on fine motor development, sensory integration, and functional independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to determine student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and related service providers
- Support classroom staff with strategies to meet students' sensory and motor needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
- Communicate effectively with families and school staff
- Attend MTSS meetings as needed
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or OTD in Occupational Therapy
- Current Rhode Island Occupational Therapy license
- NBCOT certification required
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of sensory integration and school-based interventions
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team
Schedule: Part-time: 3 days per week (schedule to be determined)
