Senior Structural Project Engineer

A client of Insight Global is looking to add a Sr. Structural Project Engineer to their growing team in the Dallastown, PA area. This person will be responsible for in designing, analyzing, and validating mechanical and structural systems for defense applications. This position ensures compliance with military standards, safety regulations, and mission-critical performance requirements. designing shelters and mechanical modifications such as rack installations, ECU installations, entry panel installations, and miscellaneous ancillary items. They will attend job kick-off meetings and participate in design reviews with customers. They work closely with cross-functional teams (designers, test engineers, and program managers) to keep projects on schedule and within budget, while also developing test plans, validating analysis models against real-world test data, and producing the engineering documentation.

Salary: $130,000-$136,000/YR

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves
• Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or civil engineering
• Experience working within an Architectural background with design
• 5+ years of engineering experience
• SolidWorks experience
• Must have experience with maintaining compliance through UFC, IBC, ANSI, and/or ASCE (framework of policies, procedures, training, and technology that helps an organization identify, track, and manage its obligations to ensure it adheres to laws, regulations, and internal policies)
• Ability to obtain a clearance


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses
• PE license, any state OR EIT (Engineer in Training)
• DoD background working in similar mission settings
