Job Description

Job Summary:

An experienced MRI Tech is needed to perform general MRI procedures in a high-volume, acute care hospital setting. The role involves working independently on a GE 1.5 T MRI scanner, providing quality imaging for high-acuity patients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general MRI scans accurately and efficiently according to department protocols.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
• Document procedures and patient information within the Meditech system.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards, including proper scrubs and PPE.
• Collaborate with the radiology team to ensure timely patient throughput.
• Respond effectively to patient needs, especially in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications:

• ARRT (MR) certification required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years' MRI technologist experience.
• Ability to operate GE 1.5 T MRI equipment.
• Demonstrate adaptability to fast-paced and high-volume settings.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
