Registered Nurse Supervisor

Description of Work This position oversees nursing services to ensure residents receive high quality care and support. The role focuses on supervising staff, coordinating care, and maintaining a safe environment. As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will perform the following duties: Clinical Oversight: Guide staff in planning, implementing, and evaluating resident care across multiple areas Team Leadership: Support collaboration among nursing staff, administration, and interdisciplinary teams Communication Skills: Provide clear communication to residents, families, and staff while facilitating organizational updates Staff Development: Offer ongoing training, orientation, and performance guidance for nursing personnel Documentation Tasks: Complete records, evaluations, and required reports while monitoring resident care quality Emergency Response: Respond to critical situations and ensure resident safety during urgent events Work Schedule and Additional Information Full-time employment, 40 hours per week Work hours are 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, with rotating on and off duty days including weekends and holidays. Qualifications REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Three years as a Registered Nurse (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration) ; or Four years of professional nursing experience providing care and treatment services consistent with those needed for individuals with a mental or physical injury or illness and/or a developmental disability. Special Requirements: This position requires active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania. If you possess an active temporary practice permit, you must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
