Electrician

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Electrician in Eden Prairie, MN. The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within commercial and service-oriented environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety procedures, the ability to interpret technical diagrams, and experience working effectively on contract-based assignments. Job Type: Contract Pay: $20 to $35 Per Hour BOE Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including conduit, lighting fixtures, electrical panels, and transformers. Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to plan and execute installations. Pull electrical wiring through conduit and connect it to circuit breakers, transformers, and outlets. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform corrective actions to minimize system downtime. Install, bend, and remove conduit to accommodate specific facility wiring needs. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using various testing devices to ensure safety and functionality. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition. Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building standards. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial electrical installations or electrical service work. Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and safety protocols. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Possession of necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and standard electrical hand tools. Dependable and punctual, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Eden Prairie area. Physical Requirements Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination. Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and poles. Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits. Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions and around loud noises. Must be able to see color to discern color‑coded wiring. Must be aware of OSHA safety standards. Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, and sit for long periods of time. Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs. Pay Transparency The anticipated pay range for this position is $20 to $35 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
