Pharmacy Technician IV Certified | Aurora, Illinois

A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced Evening Shift IV Pharmacy Technician at a closed-door long-term care facility. This role requires a reliable professional with strong attendance and the ability to perform sterile compounding in a fast-paced environment. The position offers an engaging challenge preparing intravenous (IV) medications while ensuring the highest standards of sterility and safety.


Location:

• Woodridge, IL

Shift Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Rotating every other weekend

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare IV medications using aseptic techniques to strictly maintain sterility
• Conduct quality assurance checks on compounded medications
• Manage inventory to ensure adequate supplies and reduce waste
• Adhere to USP 797 standards and all regulatory compliance policies
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in a high-volume setting, dispensing roughly 600 prescriptions daily
• Utilize Frameworks software systems to document and manage pharmacy workflows (training provided)

Required Qualifications:

• Active and clear Illinois Pharmacy Technician license
• Demonstrated sterile compounding experience, preferably IV certification
• Proven ability to work quickly and accurately while maintaining patient safety
• Dependability with strong attendance history
