ER RN Job Details Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Travel) Location: Clinton, Maryland 20735 Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Healthcare Setting: Community Hospital Emergency Department Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 9/22/2025 – End: 12/22/2025) Nursing Shift: Day shifts, 3x12-hour (07:00 – 19:30) Hours per Week: 36 Patient Ratio: 1:4 Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend and holiday rotation Charting System: Cerner EMR Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,630 - $1,750 ER Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience (within the last 8 months in an ED with at least 45,600 visits/year) Prior travel nursing experience required Active RN license in Maryland or a compact state Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Expert triage and clinical assessment skills Proficiency with Cerner EMR (preferred) Two supervisor references required Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) ER Nurse Responsibilities Perform triage and prioritize patient care in a fast-paced emergency room Initiate IVs, conduct phlebotomy, and manage isolation precautions Care for ventilated patients and those requiring CPAP/BiPAP Interpret and manage dysrhythmias for adult and pediatric patients Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, social services, rapid response, and pharmacy Deliver expert emergency care to neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR Apply now for this travel ER RN job in Clinton, Maryland and join our dedicated healthcare team today!
