Assistant Community Manager

Description Litmore Apartments | Little Canada, MN | Full-time, on-site $28 - $30 per hour | Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm Roundhouse is hiring an Assistant Community Manager at Litmore Apartments. You'll work alongside the Community Manager on leasing, rent collection, resident relations, and financial reporting, and build the skills to run a property of your own. What you'll own Collect and post rent, manage resident ledgers, issue late notices, and assist with collections and write-offs Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, including inspections, documentation, and deposit accounting Respond quickly and professionally to resident questions, concerns, and complaints Track maintenance requests and keep work orders moving to completion Handle lease renewals, violations, and notices in line with company policy Support leasing by giving tours, processing applications, and preparing leases Assist with invoices, occupancy and delinquency tracking, and monthly and annual financial reporting Keep resident files and CRM records accurate Drive community goals for occupancy, renewals, turn times, and a rental closing ratio of at least 35% Support marketing, outreach, and the occasional resident event Follow Fair Housing laws, safety procedures, and company policy What you bring High school diploma or GED 1+ year of bookkeeping, accounting, or related financial experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint) Working knowledge of property management laws and regulations A real customer-service mindset and strong communication skills A desire to lead, on your team and in your community A leg up if you have 1+ year of onsite multifamily or apartment experience 2+ years of sales or leasing experience Experience with Yardi Voyager, RentCafe, Appwork, or similar property management software Pay and benefits $28 - $30 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications Medical (including a zero-cost employee plan), dental, and vision 401(k) with employer match Paid time off plus 9 paid holidays Paid maternity and parental leave Employee housing discount and cell phone stipend Company-paid life insurance, plus short- and long-term disability options Mental wellness program and Perks at Work discounts Professional development support, peer recognition, and years-of-service awards About Roundhouse Our mission is putting humanity into housing.
