Location: North Conway, NH Facility: Memorial Hospital Schedule: Per Diem Shift: Varies Job Category: Service/Maintenance Support Req #: 75708 Date Posted: Jun 27, 2026 Memorial Hospital is presently seeking a per diem Security Officer to join their team! Summary This position is per diem with variable hours. The Security Officer role is responsible for monitoring the healthcare environment to help prevent security incidents from occurring and deescalating incidents as they emerge. The officer may provide protective services and, with sufficient training, patient restraints as deemed necessary by medical staff. Responsibilities Monitor the healthcare environment to prevent security incidents. Deescalate incidents as they arise. Provide protective services and patient restraints as trained and directed by medical staff. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. Must obtain IAHSS certification within one year of hire if required. License/Certifications: Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Valid driver’s license if required by the local Health System. Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or similar completed within local Health System requirements. Completion of HIC 100, 200, and 700 if required by facility. Experience: Relevant experience in hospital safety and security preferred. Additional Skills/Requirements: None.
