A Place At Home – Metro East Week End Shifts Available for Overnight and Daytime Shifts In Belleville, O'Fallon, Collinsville and Edwardsville

 

Are you a dedicated caregiver looking for an opportunity to provide round-the-clock care to clients in need? Join our team at A Place At Home – Metro East, a trusted provider of in-home care services. We are currently hiring caregivers to fill All-day, and overnight shifts for our 24/7 care assignments.

 

Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive care and assistance to clients throughout 24-hour shifts.

- Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care, medication management, mobility support, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.

- Offer emotional support and companionship, engaging clients in meaningful activities to enhance their well-being.

- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment, responding to emergencies or changes in clients' conditions.

- Collaborate with the care team, including healthcare professionals and family members, to ensure personalized and continuous care.

 

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a caregiver, preferably with experience in 24/7 care or shifts.

- Compassion, empathy, and the ability to establish trusting relationships with clients and their families.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and the care team.

- Ability to adapt to varying client needs and provide individualized care.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable).
