Description:
Position available for a Registered Nurse in the Medical Intensive Care Unit.
The shift is 3x12 hours, nights from 7 PM to 7 AM, including holiday rotation.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:2.
Every other weekend is required.
First-time travelers are not accepted.
Candidates should have experience in an acute care setting.
Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
Candidates must be open to floating within the scope of practice as needed.
All time off requests must be submitted at the time of application.
Approval for any time off will be based on facility needs.
Travelers should be mindful of hurricane season, which runs from June through November.
During this time, all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams.
Candidates must be able to complete all pre-start compliance requirements on time.
