Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health.

Required Credentials: Pass/fail skills exam during orientation on Friday; open-book; minimum score 90%. You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must be outside 50 miles of the facility. Cannot be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit-associated facility, including CHI or Dignity. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.

Unit Details: Medical, surgical, and orthopedics patient population. 1:6 ratio occurs at least once a week. Heparin is the only titratable drip. RT is available on the floor 24 hours. Telemetry is on the floor with a centralized tele station. Patient care tech coverage is 1:10-12.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend requirement: As needed. Holiday requirement: As needed. No call.

Floating Requirements: Floats to PCU or Burn.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
