Associate Account Manager, Surety Bonds Job Summary Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Account Manager, Surety Bonds to join a team. Compensation Package Base Salary Range : $53,000 to $80,000 Benefits : Comprehensive health insurance coverage Life and disability insurance 401(k) match Responsibilities Maintain and grow the bond business in alignment with management objectives and procedures. Develop and sustain positive relationships with clients, underwriters, and team members. Utilize available resources to gather and maintain underwriting information. Ensure timely processing of requests through an effective follow-up system. Communicate account updates regularly with the sales team. Assist with premium collections as needed. Provide backup support for other staff members when required. Handle bond requests, exercise underwriting authority judiciously, and provide timely approvals or requests for additional information. Prepare and file bond paperwork as requested by clients. Support client service for assigned house accounts, including underwriting information and rider requests. Identify and refer new business opportunities to management. Participate in projects and tasks as assigned by management. Qualifications/Requirements Education : Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience. Licensing : P&C Producer License in domicile state. Skills : Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to explain and provide products promptly and accurately. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, with a problem-solving mindset. Proficiency in written and oral communication, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally. Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate digital files and paperwork. Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel) and a strong aptitude for learning proprietary software. Comfort working with numbers and percentages. Work Environment : Ability to function effectively in both office and remote settings.
