Dental Treatment Coordinator

Androscoggin Dental Group is looking for an enthusiastic, personable, and patient-focused Front Desk Receptionist / Treatment Coordinator to join our team in Lewiston, Maine.

We are a well-established dental practice serving patients of all ages. Our team provides comprehensive dental care in a welcoming and modern environment, and we believe excellent dentistry is about more than clinical care — it's about creating an exceptional experience from the first phone call to the final goodbye.

Your Schedule

Monday–Thursday | 7:30 AM–5:30 PM

Enjoy a consistent daytime schedule and have your evenings free!

What You'll Do

As one of the first faces our patients see, you'll play a huge role in creating a positive patient experience.

You'll be responsible for:

• Welcoming patients and making them feel at home
• Answering phones and assisting patients with scheduling and questions
• Coordinating new patient appointments and keeping the schedule running smoothly
• Presenting and coordinating treatment plans
• Helping patients understand their treatment options and next steps
• Discussing financial arrangements, insurance benefits, and financing options
• Following up with patients who have outstanding treatment
• Coordinating communication between patients, doctors, hygienists, and the clinical team
• Keeping patient information accurate and up to date
• Helping create a positive, organized, and upbeat front-office environment
• Being the person who helps turn a nervous dental patient into a happy, loyal one

Confident. You're comfortable discussing treatment, finances, scheduling, and next steps with patients.

Organized. You can juggle a busy schedule, multiple priorities, ringing phones, and patient questions without losing your cool.

A great communicator. You can explain things clearly and professionally while still being personable and approachable.

Patient-focused. You understand that every patient has a different story, comfort level, and set of needs.

A team player. You understand that a great dental practice works best when everyone works together.

Dental Experience?

Dental front-office experience is strongly preferred , particularly experience with treatment coordination, insurance, scheduling, or presenting treatment.

Experience with dental software- Eaglesoft, and insurance verification is a plus.

That said, we're also interested in the right person . Someone with excellent customer service skills, confidence, professionalism, and a willingness to learn can be a fantastic addition to our team.
