Job Overview: We are hiring an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join PMC's machine shop. This role involves setup and operation of CNC lathes for precision machining. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, adjusting tooling offsets, and inspecting workpieces for tight tolerances. Machines: CNC Lathes LU-3000 Captain Multus-TS LU-3000 Multus SS Horizontal Milling Makino A71 Mills Hurco Grinders Cylindrical Manual Grinder Horizontal Milling HX-500 Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce custom machine parts. Read blueprints and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. Perform tooling adjustments and routine maintenance. Use precision measurement instruments to inspect parts. Troubleshoot and correct deviations in real time. Qualifications: Proven experience operating CNC lathes. Conversational Programmer required Proficient in blueprint reading and machining practices. Comfortable working in a low-volume, high-precision environment.
