About the Position

# Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** September 7, 2026 **Location:** Pasadena, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Day shift, 1:1 patient ratio, on-call required including one weekend per month

Highlights:

• Work in a multi-specialty 10-bed Operating Room with a collaborative team of 54 staff members
• Multi-specialty surgical environment including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, gynecology, ENT, vascular (non-cardiac), and pediatrics
• Procedures include open/laparoscopic/robotic general cases, robotic orthopedics, total joint replacements, trauma orthopedics, and gynecological procedures
• EMR system: Meditech, transitioning to Expanse
• Day shift configuration includes dedicated support staff: CNCs, RNs, CSTs, first assists, PCTs, and anesthesia technicians
• On-call responsibilities include weekly rotation and one weekend per month

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Texas (or ability to obtain)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Experience in orthopedics, general surgery, urology, and gynecology is essential
• BSN preferred
• ENT, vascular (non-cardiac), and pediatric experience preferred
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
