This role involves assisting healthcare providers by performing patient care duties within the scope of practice to ensure efficient, high-quality care and positive patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform patient care tasks accurately and timely, following provider orders.
• Facilitate patient flow and communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members.
• Assist with treatments and procedures, ensuring proper consent and preparation.
• Administer immunizations under provider supervision, adhering to legal guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.
• Coordinate referrals and manage exam room supplies and medication samples.
• Uphold infection control standards and maintain a clean clinical environment.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited certified medical assistant program.

Licenses and Certifications:

Current Medical Assistant Certification and Licensure as required by the state. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 90 days of hire.

Skills and Abilities:

Strong knowledge of medical assistant duties and patient care techniques. Proficiency with technology including electronic medical records and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, exercise independent judgment, and collaborate effectively.
