Stand-Up Forklift Operator
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled Stand-Up Forklift Operator for a well-established manufacturing facility in Dalton, GA. This is an excellent opportunity to join a safety-focused team where reliability, teamwork, and hard work are valued and rewarded.
Pay Rate
Day: $18 per hour
Night: $19 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Day: 8AM-8PM swing shift
Night:8PM-8AM swing shift
Must work every other weekend
Stand-Up Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, following company policies and procedures.
- Load and unload materials from racks and other storage areas, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Transport materials to designated locations within the facility
- Inspect and maintain forklifts regularly, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel for repair.
- Closely always follow safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and securing loads properly.
Stand-Up Forklift Operator Qualifications and Requirements
* Min. 5 years stand up reach experience
* Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and operating instructions to prevent accidents and injuries.
* Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination to maneuver equipment in tight spaces and navigate busy warehouse environments.
* Ability to stand for the entirety of shift- needed to operate reach.
* Ability to stand for the entirety of shift- needed to operate reach.
* Forklift testing with the company prior to placement is required.
Job Type
Full-time, long-term temporary with full benefits after 1 year
