Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Emergency Room RN – Travel Nurse We’re looking for Emergency Room RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Marion, NC. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience. Responsibilities Appropriately evaluate, triage, and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions. Perform minor medical operations, advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries, and plan long-term care needs. Document medical history, check for allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor patients' emotional and physical well‑being. Perform basic bedside care. Clean and bandage wounds. Provide IV therapy. Maintain supplies and medical equipment. Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies. Requirements ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI, NIH certification, minimum 1 year acute care experience. Ability to stand, walk for long periods, lift up to 20 pounds, and occasionally 50 pounds. Strong stress‑coping skills and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
