Description: Independent Freight Agent (1099) – Nationwide | Unlimited Earning Potential

If you’re an experienced Freight Agent with a transferable book of business, this is the platform that lets you scale it. Sims Global Solutions is expanding our national 1099 Agent Network and looking for proven producers who want more support, more freedom, and more money in their pocket.

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor role for experienced Freight Agents only.

As an Independent Freight Agent (1099) , you’ll work remotely and represent Sims Global Solutions under our brokerage authority. You’ll leverage your existing customer relationships to move Truckload and LTL freight while we handle all back-office operations , including billing, collections, claims, carrier compliance, and customer setup.

You focus on selling and servicing your customers. We handle the rest.

Agents who consistently develop and manage their accounts routinely earn six figures and beyond .

• 3+ years of proven Freight Agent experience
• A developed, transferable book of business
• Strong hunter mentality and consistent outbound activity
• Ability to negotiate rates with customers and carriers
• Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot preferred but not required)
• Professional communication and follow-through with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers
• Organized daily workflow with proactive follow-up and appointment setting

• Fully integrated TMS + CRM + Marketing automation
• Client setup in seconds with customer portal access
• Digital tracking, freight matching, and bulk rate integrations
• E-commerce and WMS integrations
• Carrier onboarding & vetting software with internal load board
• Multi-modal capabilities: TL, LTL, Expedited, Intermodal, Drayage, Warehousing, Fulfillment
