Shelter Volunteer – Provide Comfort to Families Affected by Disasters Step in when disaster strikes and help families feel safe, supported, and cared for during their toughest moments. The American Red Cross operates shelters for people displaced by disasters, providing safety, comfort, and essential resources. As a Shelter Service Associate, you’ll help ensure families have the support they need during one of the most challenging times of their lives.
