Salary Range $25.00-$35.00 Hourly Position Summary Serves as a Behavior Analyst providing consultation to the group home providers, behavior analysis providers, state office and regional behavioral analysis team members, and community stakeholders to ensure that behavior analysis services are implemented in accordance with Section 393, F.S., Rule 65G-4 and 65G-8, F.A.C. regulations and memos of understanding. Work You Will Do Completes all regional tasks per the High Watch Operating Procedure requirements. Collaborates in conducting preliminary reviews of behavior plans and relevant documents prior to the Local Review Committee (LRC) meetings in the region. Schedules for LRC presentations. Attend LRC meetings in each specified regional office and actively participate in the review process of behavior plans and data reviews. Ensures recording, maintenance, and distribution of LRC meeting minutes and review documents to providers and other pertinent recipients. Updates the LRC/BASE tracking database and generates the approval documents. Completes assigned Behavior Analysis Service Eligibility (BASE) forms. Completes regional determination of providers of Intensive Behavior (IB) and Behavior Focused (BF) residential habilitation group homes. Collaborates with regional analysts on monitoring of all IB and BF residents. Provide technical assistance and support to ensure placement is successful; facilitates resolutions to issues impacting client progress, placement, and health and safety related to behavioral needs. Completes the IB Matrix as assigned. Reviews, compiles, and submits monthly documentation of Provider Reactive Strategies reports monthly to the State Office behavioral analysis team. Initiates and completes all necessary Regional Reactive Strategy follow up as assigned. Reviews critical incidents. Collaborates with the Quality Assurance team and other regional staff to advise on risk mitigation, health, and safety needs and to address provider/facility concerns expeditiously. Collaborates with APD Regional/facility/State Office staff to immediately address and develop solutions to concerns or issues noted and participate in transition planning. Provides training and technical assistance sessions to support coordinators, providers and agency staff regarding regulatory practices related to the delivery of behavioral services. Participates in Agency hearings, meetings, and client staffing’s. Provides consultation for Behavior Analysis eligibility reviews, Residential Habilitation Designations, and Significant Additional Needs requests as needed. Completes other duties and assignments/projects assigned to support regional functions. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in related sciences preferred. Must have a valid Driver’s License or other efficient means of transportation to travel for work purposes and be willing to travel. Minimum 3 years of Behavior Analysis experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of: Individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities. Behavior Analytic standards of care, ethical practices, crisis intervention, assessment, interventions, data collection, and data analysis. Florida’s developmental disabilities’ services system, statutes, regulations, and policies related to state facility and community services. Licensure/registration/certification requirements. Ability to: Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets. Develop policies, procedures and standards, compile, organize and analyze data, develop evaluation methodologies and to evaluate quality of services and compliance with rules, policies and statutes. Demonstrate Skills in: Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
