Shipping Associate - UniFirst First Aid + Safety

UniFirst First Aid + Safety is seeking a reliable and hardworking Shipping Associate to join our family. As a Team Partner in the Production Department, you will be responsible for ensuring that all customer orders are picked and packed in a timely and orderly manner. We offer various shifts, typically a 5‑day work week with two days off, and provide on‑the‑job training for immediate openings. What you’ll be doing Process orders. Review order notes to determine parcel carrier and any special handling. Accurately pick orders. Use picking sheets and vehicle inventory adjustment forms (VIAF) to identify bin location and quantities. Verify items picked by confirming part numbers, descriptions, and quantities. Prepare orders for shipment. Select appropriate shipping cartons and pack securely to minimize damage. Maintain assigned aisles and product stacks. Remove all empty boxes, strapping, plastic, debris, etc. Sweep assigned aisle daily.Follow current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) guidelines. Perform other duties as directed by leadership. Qualifications High school education and/or GED. Must be 16 years of age or older; 18 years of age or older to operate machinery. At least 2 years of relevant experience (preferred). Strong verbal and written English communication. Good team player. Detail‑oriented. Ability to follow directions from leadership. Ability to stand throughout an 8‑hour shift. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
