At Mid America Stainless, we encourage a continuous process improvement culture and will provide on the job training for candidates seeking career- minded positions with our company.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEvaluate existing operational procedures, methods and manufacturing methods to aid in the development of project plans to continuously improve production efficiencies and performance.Analyze, plan and execute production workflows and equipment placement to improve safety, performance and manufacturing efficiencies.Determine root cause of failures using statistical methods and recommend changes in designs, tolerances or processing methods.Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services with guidance and oversight ensuring production equipment remains in sound working order.Obtain, record and secures all maintenance records and ensure proper Preventative Maintenance procedures are in place for all production equipment.Provides cross functional leadership to implement improvements to existing equipment, manufacturing methods and tooling.Ensure that the company's manufacturing processes are in compliant with local, state and federal regulations.Experiences, Competencies, Skills and Education:Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.Proven work experience of more than 5+ years in product manufacturing.Advanced organizational, analytical and communications skills.Experience using calculus, trigonometry, algebra and other types of math.Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with advanced problem- solving skills.Knowledgeable in machine controls, drives and automation.Working understanding of PLC's desirable.
