Nurse Practitioner, Vascular Neurology/Stroke Program - Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center

Job Description

Responsible for working alongside physicians and facilitating advanced primary and specialty nursing services. Provides general and preventative care for children and adults, perform check-ups, treat illnesses, order lab tests, and prescribe medication. Principal accountabilities include providing new patient consultation and reviews health history, performing physical examinations and screening on the patients, providing after-care/ongoing care information and resources to patients and their families, ensuring patient records are maintained including test results, immunizations, condition changes, delivering quality, physician-level care while complying with company policies, safety regulations, and productivity metrics, recommending further treatment options or future appointments if required, performing diagnoses health problems and providing medications, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required: 1. Master's degree in Nursing or related area. 2. Current state Nurse Practitioner license. Preferred: 1. 5 or more years experience in Nursing or relevant area.
